TranscendWords (Games) is a new division of TranscendWords, an AI-powered translation tool originally designed for books. Expanding beyond literature, this division focuses on translating indie games using the same core algorithm, making localization faster and more accessible for developers.

Tales of the Forgotten

Tales of the Forgotten is a haunting PSX-style first-person experience created by former industry professionals from EA, featuring multiple ghost stories set in everyday locations, filled with jump scares, surreal moments, and a variety of endings.

After my recent trip to GDC, I began working with a wide range of teams, one of them being the developers behind Tales of the Forgotten. They were excited about what TranscendWords could offer, and we agreed to collaborate on improving their localization. Together, we enhanced the quality of previously supported languages and added new ones using TranscendWords, which streamlined the translation with minimal to no manual input, making localization extremely faster, cheaper, and much less of a burden for developers then traditional systems.

Fallout Equestria: REMAINS

The second game to feature TranscendWords’ AI translation is Fallout Equestria: REMAINS. Originally supporting multiple languages like English and Spanish, the game now also includes Ukrainian thanks to TranscendWords’ localization pipeline. While the localization is not finished, as the team behind Fallout Equestria: REMAINS understandably wants to ensure the quality of it, there is an older demo of the game, which you can find here.
