Ashes of Equestria

During my eight-month tenure at The Overmare Studios, I was actively involved in enhancing the gameplay experience for “Ashes of Equestria.” My primary responsibilities included debugging and refining the game’s movement system, specifically tailoring the mechanics for a horse-based player character to ensure smoother and more responsive controls. Additionally, I contributed to the development of new weapons and mechanics, such as the flare gun, enriching the combat options available to players. This role also provided me with invaluable experience in teamwork and the effective use of development tools such as HacknPlan and Mercurial. This opportunity not only sharpened my technical skills but also enhanced my ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.
